What this site refuses to do.
Most jewelry websites are built to impress. This one is built to be believed. Here is the difference, in writing.
No stranger’s ring presented as his.
The drawings on this site are drawings of how a ring is made. The photographs of rings, watches, the cases and the shop are the shop’s own, from its Yelp page and its Google listing, until the photo day. The film at the top of the front page is stock, a stranger’s hands and a loupe. The stone under the lamp on the front page is drawn in code from a real brilliant’s proportions. It is a drawing, not his stone. Nothing is captioned as a piece made here unless it was.
His voice, his to correct.
The site speaks as Mehran, in the first person. It was written for him, and every line is his to change. His quote in 02 comes from his own old website. Every other sentence in quotation marks belongs to one of his customers, on Google, quoted as written, with its date.
No prices that are not his.
The site carries no number he did not give. It tells you to bring yours, and it tells you what happens with it at the counter.
No trackers.
No cookies. No analytics. No third-party scripts. Nothing you type leaves this page until you send it yourself, and the site’s security policy forbids it from doing otherwise.
Every fact has a source.
The address, the hours, the phone, the rating, the review count. Each one was read off a public listing on a named date.
How it is built
Plain files, plain facts.
Nothing here needs a login to keep working, and nothing here reports on you.
Built by Curb to Click, Atlanta, from the shop’s public record. The block drawn in the visit section comes from OpenStreetMap data, © OpenStreetMap contributors, under the ODbL.
